A 10k run in April, anyone?

I'm also going to get my lard-arse off the couch and get running: the Texas Roundup 10k is coming up on April 29th and will (I'm thinking) be a good break from the hell-on-a-stick of essay time.

Anyone else game? There's a free signed certificate from Rick Perry as a reward!

10k. . . hmm. Is that like 6.6 miles? I don't think I've ran that far since I was in 10th grade. If you don't mind a major slow poke I'll run along.

Most definitely I'll do this. Lisa? Up for a La Grange reprise?

Can we bring our Rick Perry certs in and get Mark to sign his name right on top of his?

hey the texas independence day 5k (which has a logo of a strong arm holding a sword dripping blood) is march 4.... anybody want a training run/walk?

and in my opinion actual running in the latter throws of a 10k is strictly optional.

i'll run in the independence day 5k, so long as i get a t-shirt with the arm and the sword prominently featured!

Man the T-shirt sounds great - maybe if I'm not in the midst of Explore UT I'll try to go.
