AMS 394 Final Paper

If anyone has one of the good papers from last year could you tell me approx. how many sources they used? This is probably not how I should approach my research for this paper, but I thought that Mark, when he originally explained the project, implied that it was good to have a lot of sources, but not that many pages.

"The Mapes Hotel and Casino: A Bibliographic Essay," by Alicia Barber, Spring 1999: 31 pages, looks like it's at 1 1/2 spaces. 57 sources, primary and scholarly.

57 sources and 37 pages: WTF? Where's the analysis in all that?

Wait wait, I didn't do a comparative analysis this morning, because I didn't have time, but I also have "China in the Mind of an American Reporter: A Bibliographic Essay of Theodore White's *Thunder out of China*," by John Haddad, Spring 1997: 35 pages, also 1 1/2 spaced; only 32 sources, about 10 of which are mag articles...
